is now recruiting children for the this school year.

Head Start is a federal & state funded parent/child
program free to income eligible families.
Head Start Offers:
1. 3 1/2 hour sessions Monday through Thursday
2. K.I.D.S. program for children who have been abused
or neglected
3. Family Child Care Providers
4. Full Day Child Care Partner
5. Home Base Program
Head Start Provides:
1. Developmentally appropriate curriculum for 3 to 5 year old
children.
2. A hot lunch, snack and/or breakfast are served daily family
style.
3. Monthly Parent Meetings.
4. Family Literacy and Transition activities into and out of
Head Start.
5. Referrals to various agencies when the family has a need or
crisis that requires a specific service
6. Intervention and services for children with Disabilities
